Quilted Strait Quilt Shop is located in the Old Stables Building in historic Port Gamble , in Kitsap County, Washington.
The shop sits on a knoll, surrounded by a park with a beautiful view of Port Gamble Bay. The shop is as gorgeous on the inside as the view is outside with almost 4000 bolts of carefully chosen eclectic fabric including wool, batiks, novelties, Kaffe Collective fabrics, reproduction and Asian inspired fabrics. Many colorful quilts hang from the twenty foot white washed ceiling beams that were milled in the Port Gamble mill more than 100 years ago.
Needleworkers will love the array of cotton, silk and wool embroidery flosses, pearl cottons, embellishment threads, ribbons and comprehensive selection of books and patterns.
Almost any day of the week our classroom is host to wonderful teachers, quilt groups and community service projects.
We are honored to have been chosen as a featured shop in the 2012 Spring/Summer edition of the Better Homes and Gardens Quilt Sampler Magazine. The welcoming staff at Quilted Strait has a wide variety of quilting and needlework skills and are always available to offer help and advice!
