DIAMONDS IN THE ROUGH
Sunday January 21, 2018; 10:30am-1:30pm AND Sunday February 4, 2018; 10:30am-1:30pm
This class has been designed for quilters who are new to the world of working without patterns AND those who are more experienced with improvisation. If you’re ready to get better at creating your own art quilts, this class is for you. All that’s required is a sewing machine and an adventurous spirit.
In the first class, students will learn how to create the basic diamond: a four-part square “on point” with irregular strips along most of the inner edges. The second class will feature experimentation with color and value contrasts, as well as tips on how to vary scale and block arrangements. There will be homework between the first and second class.
Even if you’ve never sewn a curve before, you can learn to make these shapes! No pins, no templates -- just your fabric stash and your creativity.
This Class has a 5 day cancellation policy: Please Read
