Cathedral Window - One Stitch at a Time (May)

DateMay 2020TeacherAnn TrujilloSkill LevelBeginner

Instructor: Ann Trujillo

One Session Class: Tuesday, May 6, 2020, 10:30 am to 4 pm

A cathedral window quilt is not the same as a traditional quilt. The quilt does not have a backing or batting and consists of a pieced top with edging. Each quilt block is made using a folded patchwork technique. Students in this class will learn the folding and stitching techniques to assemble this traditional quilt, first made popular in the 1930s. Work on a pillow top in class or set your sights higher and begin a bed-sized quilt.
