Basics & Beyond classes are two-part classes. The morning half of the class consists of a short class on the topic for the day, download the supply list to get a list of what you will need for this part of the class. The afternoon part of the class offers two options. Students may continue to work on the project from the morning OR they may bring their own project. This is a great opportunity for students to take advantage of Melissa's extensive quilting knowledge and get help with a project, technique, or pattern of their own choosing. 

Curved piecing is a wonderful tool to have in your quilting toolbox and the Mini Curved Ruler by Sew Kind of Wonderful is a great way to practice.  In the morning  Melissa will teach you how to use the ruler to cut and sew curves.  You will need to purchase this ruler, it comes with a free pattern that we will make together.
