Crazy quilts were popular at the turn of the century to prove that you were wealthy enough to hire someone else to do the household chores, so the lady of the house could just sit and stitch. In class, students will learn some of the basic hand embroidery stitches common in crazy quilting, and Ann will discuss resources if students want to go on and learn more stitches after the class. Ann will provide each student with a twelve-inch pieced block to stitch on in class.
