Nishikiito 77-27 purple metallic hand embroidery thread by the Lecien and Cosmo of Japan. It is crafted using the technique for Japanese Gold Thread which is used in Kyoto's Wasau (traditional Japanese clothing). The thread is made shiny by the contrast of the core thread and the films, but is soft and easy to stitch with. The thread is tightly wound around a core to make it abrasion resistant. The thread works well with traditional embroidery thread and can be used for a variety of hand embellishments and tassels. Spool contains 20m or 21.9 yards of thread. Thread is 100% nylon.
