Kathy uses a Denyse Schmidt pattern to bring a modern approach to the traditional wedding ring block. Join Kathy for a fun day of creating quarter squares with modern arcs that will create one large ring block. Kathy will instruct you in a simple freezer paper technique used to create the arcs and then guide you through carefully cutting the background and stitching the pieces together. The pattern includes fabric requirements for a variety of sizes, the class sample pictured is 50" x 50".
This is a great quilt for using scraps or precuts. Use all prints for a scrappy, vintage look, or oopt for a wide range of values in a single hue for a more sophisticated look. The sky is the limit!
