Quilted Strait is at home in the Old Stables Building in historic Port Gamble, Washington.
The shop sits on a knoll, surrounded by a park with a beautiful Port Gamble Bay view. The shop is as gorgeous on the inside as the surroundings are outside, with almost 4000 bolts of carefully chosen eclectic fabric, including wool, batiks, traditional and modern prints, and a large selection of solids and blenders. Colorful quilts hang from the twenty-foot whitewashed beams and timbers milled in the Port Gamble mill more than 100 years ago.
Needleworkers will love the array of cotton, silk, and wool embroidery floss, pearl cotton, embellishment threads, ribbons, and a comprehensive selection of books and patterns.
We are honored to be a featured shop in the Better Homes and Gardens Quilt Sampler Magazine. The welcoming staff at Quilted Strait has a wide variety of quilting and needlework skills and are always available to offer help and advice!
