Beginning Quilting, Saturday, Nov. 7

Kathy is excited to share her quilting passion with you and welcome you to the wonderful world of quilting!  This class is for those with little or no experience who are eager to learn more.

In the class, students will learn to use a rotary cutter and self-healing mat, learn basic cutting and pressing skills, and to master the ¼” seam. Most importantly, students will have fun playing with fabric. There is no right or wrong way to make these string blocks, so no way to mess it up! Make a few blocks to make a table topper or plan on making enough for a quilt - it is entirely up to you. All fabric is provided except for a small piece of muslin, which you can purchase the day of class.The only thing you need to know is how to use your sewing machine. Please download the supply list before class, as you will need some basic sewing supplies in addition to your machine, and come prepared to enjoy some fabric fun!
