Winter Light Vessel, Friday, November 6

Do you want to learn how to turn wool fiber into three-dimensional objects? In this class, you will learn how to use a flat resist to create a wet-felted, warm winter light vessel complete with a curly or straight top. You will learn all the basic steps of wet-felting, including fiber layout, pre-felt, and fulling.  

Using natural colors of wool and plant fibers in this vessel lets the structure of the felted wool shine, and once you add your own battery-operated tea light, it will softly brighten any table or shelf. A lovely spot of winter comfort.

The class fee includes all wool and decorative fibers, a handout, a paper pattern, and the use of basic felting equipment and tools from Michelle’s studio.
