Sculptural Felt Vessel
Want to learn how to turn wool fiber into three-dimensional objects? In this fun class, you will learn how to use a flat resist to create a wet-felted, hollow vessel. You will learn all the basic steps of wet-felting, including fiber layout, pre-felt, and fulling. You will also learn how to embellish your design with other fibers and pre-felts. The finished vessel can be used to hold trinkets, chocolates or to simply brighten up any shelf. It can also be used as a vase if you place a glass jar within it to hold the water.
All class materials and the use of tools will be provided.
