As Australia is the driest continent, they have been mostly dependent on the creeks or rivers for their needs. They have an enormous amount of knowledge of managing water resources within Australian landscape. They remember the river by telling stories, singing songs, visiting dry river beds or depicting pictures of the area/plce on the canvas, caves, etc.
