Images of bare trees, whether straight or wind-swept, have long been symbols of strength, resilience, and time. In this class, students will create a simple fabric-collage background to support their trees and embellish them with embroidered bark and, if you wish, moss. This is a clever technique, and although you will be making trees in class, you can apply this technique to any subject of your choice in the future. Students will create a small 18"-20" piece in class.
Appropriate for confident beginners; basic free-motion quilting skills are required.
