This class is based on an improv technique developed by Freddy Moran. She was a well-known and much-loved quilter from Northern California who gave Maggie her blessing to teach her technique. There is no pattern and no set way to create a face. In this one- day class, Maggie will cover the basics of backgrounds, cutting heads/torso, and creating your “person” (eyes, ears, nose and mouth!). Once you have created your face, Maggie will cover steps to quilt, outline and bind your creation. You will go home with the basics of how to complete the project but there will not be time to completely finish your face
