Beginning Paper Piecing: Saturday, January 18

Saturday, January 18; 11:00 - 4:30 pm

Instructor: Kathy Ruwe

Have you ever wondered what “machine paper piecing” was or admired wonderfully pieced quilts and questioned how it was done? Maybe you have tried paper piecing on your own and been frustrated by this counter intuitive method. If so, this is the class for you! Kathy will take some of the mystery and challenge out of this beautifully accurate technique and send you home motived to try just about anything! Paper-piecing for many folks is a technique that is more easily learned by doing and this class is focused on lots of practice while learning the technique. The class project will be the small heart quilt featured in Carol Doak's "Show Me How to Paper Piece". Students will gain the skills and confidence in the class to tackle any paper piecing project including the array of blocks in Kathy's paper piecing sample from "I Spy".

Appropriate for Advanced Beginners and Beyond

This class has a five day cancellation policy. By registering for the class you are agreeing to abide by all of the Class Policies including the refund policy.
