Boro Boxes, Wednedsday, March 19

Wednesday, March 19,  10:30 - 4:30 pm

Instructor: Robin O'Neil

Boro stitching is a Japanese stitching technique for patching and reinforcing fabric with embroidery. Practice the techniques on these little boxes with instructor Robin O'Neil. The participants in the class will use fabric scraps in solids or prints “make some fabric”.  The students will make a piece about 12” square and turn it into a stand-up box that is then decorated with hand-stitched sashiko designs. The box is lined and bound on the top, and a tiny pocket is added for treasures. The project is an easy sewing project, and the fabric choices and stitching make each box unique. It's just FUN!

Appropriate for anyone comfortable using a sewing machine!

This class has a five-day cancellation policy. By registering for the class you are agreeing to abide by all of the Class Policies including the refund policy.
