With very few materials and basic sewing skills, students can create something striking—and if you like random stitching, it’s SO much fun. The "web" of fabric and thread can be used as an art piece on its own, a decorative element in conjunction with another project or a large piece can be used as a scarf or even a shawl. Students will make a small sample in class to learn the technique and have an opportunity to experiment with embellishments. Linda will show examples and talk about larger projects that can be made using this technique.
